What You Can Do

Call, email or write your legislator

Write a letter
Write a letter to the editor of your local newspaper. Find your local paper here: http://www.angelfundva.org/editor.htm.

Speak
Speak with your neighbors and friends. Testify before our legislators here or in Richmond. We have had members of our community come forward because of their strong belief in change and their sense of loss. See our Speeches page.

Attend Our Events
We try to hold a panel discussion every few months in different venues and in different locations. To see our calendar, please go to http://www.angelfundva.org/calendar.htm.

Attend Advocacy Day
Join us and other like-minded citizens in Richmond on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, January 19, 2009 to advocate with our legislators.  See our Speeches page for those speeches we made in 2008.

Know the Candidates’ Positions.
This November 4, we will elect a President, United States Senator and our representative in Congress.  Please go to the candidates’ websites and review their positions on guns, mental health, campus safety and security and privacy laws.
